Ok...I started again today, I just got off my "second" period on Saturday. It's heavy again. I've called my gyno - I'm waiting on a call back. I wonder if this whole gallbladder/bleeding issue is all one in the same issue. I'm really concerned - I'm never ever sick or have issues like this. unsure.gif

I think they should admit you for a work up and stop guessing.
i hope this time your experience is much better with better staff.

I have an appt with the gallbladder specialist next Thurs - as of right now I'm still waiting on my gyno and believe me when I say they are going to get me in this week, I'm freaking over here.

Lea Ann, I would have the IUD removed. I had briefly considered getting one, read A LOT of horror stories online, and ran the other way. The fact that you've never had problems before the IUD should give you pause to consider.

I called the gyno back, she said that there is a possibility the bleeding issues actually have to do with the gallbladder issue and not the IUD, but she said the IUD could still be an issue. Oy!!! unsure.gif I'm waiting on a call back from the actual doctor who put my IUD in to see what she thinks and I'll probably have an appt tomorrow or Friday.

are you having all that pain now or just bleeding? and is the bleeding heavy enough that you shouldnt wait to long before being seen?
did they give you any parameters as to what you should do if you have more pain or bleed heavy?
I sure hope they dont make you wait to long.
