Hey everybody!

I'm so excited! Our little boy Evan is going to have a little SISTER! :-) Last time, I was a bad girl and "secretly" told a ton of people we were having a boy. This time, I haven't told ANYONE...so I had to come here and tell people!

I'm so happy. We really wanted a girl to go with our boy. THe first ultrasound visit was funny. Before we found out, I was in the waiting room with this woman who had a girl and wanted another one, but was having a boy. She was on her cell (under a sign that said no cell phones blink.gif ), telling everyone "he has a wee wee!" She wasn't like "really" upset....but she was disappointed because she wanted another girl. She was kinda kooky, but in a cute way I guess.

Anyway...so I was bad and told just about everyone (but swore them to secrecy) with Evan. SO this time I'm gonna try really hard to behave....which is why I am glad I can tell folks here. I'll admit...not telling MIL will be easy. When I told her (yes, really bad - I know) about her grandson, I was feeling all warm and fuzzy towards her. One would think with all her visits and help around hre I'd be feeling even more warm and fuzzy....but along with absence making the heart grow fonder...well, I have no such compunctions this time. laugh.gif

Besides, one reason I don't want to tell either side of the family is I don't want the cotton candy exlplosion any earlier than I have to have it. wacko.gif

As always....so glad you guys are here. biggrin.gif

CONGRATS!! So I have a question for you since ideally I'd like to do the same as you and me and DH know but no one else. How are you not going to tell them? I mean won't they see the nursery decorated or will you keep it neutral?

Actually, the baby will live in a basinet in our room for a while and then move across the hall into our 3rd bedroom. And yeah, it'll be nuetral...we wouldn't do pink and flowers anyway.

Gotta run - Evan's tiring of his stroller!

Hi All,

Well, I seriously need to learn how to budget my time. I can't believe how long its been since I've posted. Our baby is coming into the world via c-section on Tuesday, June 3rd.

I am sooo huge! I'm sure I feel that way more because I walk on crutches and have never been this pregnant (Evan came 7 weeks early...and this baby has grown faster than him too). But I can't WAIT to have this baby!

Taking care of Evan has been all-consuming, so I'm not sure how I'm going to do it...but I want to take care of both babies AND have time to do things like talk here, finish Evan's cross-stitch that I started before he was born (that will now be both of theirs...how sad), etc.

How do other folks find the time to parent AND do other things?
