past ovulation

Newbie Group: Members Posts: 7 Member No.: 22,359 Joined: 30-January 09	Iam about 9-10 days past ovulation and am expecting my period in about 11-12 days. Is it too late to get pregnant now for this month? how many days past ovulation is too late? or is it even possible to get pregnant after ovulation?

What you do is you wait until your period comes and then count 14 days and on that day you should be ovulating. But they say if you try 2 days before ovulation you can as well ... and then up to i think 2 to 3 days after ovulation you can still get pregnant but 9-11 days is too late --------------------

Sperm can live inside your body for 72 hours, so what Shelly said is bang on.
