Bronze Member Group: Members Posts: 168 Member No.: 20,810 Joined: 13-June 08	I was just wondering... at what age did you enroll your child in activites like this? I was thinking 2 or 3? Does this sound right or too young?

Platinum Member Group: Members Posts: 6,220 Member No.: 108 Joined: 8-April 03	Corey started at the Little Gym at age 3, and it was all very low pressure and geared towards younger kids. She outgrew it within a year, and we moved to a more traditional gym, where she was selected for the competitive team at age 5. They practice 3 hours a day, 3 days a week, and it's serious. It all sounded like too much to me, but she LOVES it and never wants to leave. It depends on the kid. She is the youngest and smallest in the gym, but not by much. One other thing you should know- at the upper levels, gymnastics has a higher incidence of injuries than varsity football.
