Do they make child pillows? At what age did your child start using one? My 16 month old dd doesn;t have one quite yet

We use regular pillows. Sometimes they use them sometimes they don't.

I might get bashed for this but Avery has been using a big pillow since she was about 8 months old. It's not one of those fluffy ones that she can sink into, it's made of a nice soft fleece.

We got Andrew a pillow when he moved from his crib to his toddler bed - he was 18 months old. We got the flattest one we could find at Walmart. He didn't even start using it until much later - he'd always push it out of the way so he could just lay his head on the mattress.

Our kids always got them when they moved out of their cribs into a real bed.

Miabella has 2 pillows in her big girl bed. If they aren't there, she asks for them!

Ashley got one when she moved to her regular bed when she was almost 3. (She was content in her crib until then). However, to this day, she seldom sleeps on the pillow. I usually find it tossed aside. She starts off asleep on it but doesn't stay on it for very long.

Aiden doesn't have one yet and he's 15 months. Tanner I think got one when he was about 18 months? Can't remember really.

Our children had pillows when they moved out of the crib. Go with your gut - so much advice out there!! Btw - why does it change every time I have a baby?

Sammy got a pillow at 3 when we moved him out of his crib and Abby got one at 2 when we moved her from the crib to a toddler bed. I ordered them from JC Penney -- they are called a child's sized pillow.

Sheeesh, it's been so long
Just before they were a year old, I'd fold up a little blanket and use that for a while. Then they get a real pillow, but one that's not horribly fluffy. I think they ended up with fat, fluffy pillows around 3 or so? Maybe 4? |
