My sister just told me that my niece was nominated for
"Who's Who Among American High School Students" This is a HUGE honor. She gets excellent grades, is class president, has won many writing awards and she probably won't have to worry about college tuition. She most likely will be able to get into the college of choice. I am so proud of her! I want to do something special for her... any ideas? -------------------- |

It's possible she or her mom have already done this - but Who's who publishes a very nice book that lists everyone who has received the honor.
It is (or was 5 years ago) a very nice hardcover book that costs around $40 I think. I was in Who's who and never bought it - but I wish I had. It would have been a nice memento. ETA I can't believe I forgot - Congratulations!!!!! This post has been edited by brookeandmadisonsmom on Feb 11 2006, 12:43 PM |

So brilliance runs in the family, huh?
Dee Dee that really is a huge honor!! Outstanding! The book is a great idea and I'm assuming she is pretty mature so a nice piece of jewelry would be very special! When I was that age I wanted jewelry and it is something she will cherish. Sorry, I'm no good at the gift thing. How much were you wanting to spend? |
