Yeah. I had my talk with Jeremy yesterday and told him I want time to be single and myself to do what I want when I want. He didn't take it too well. Blames it all on my guy friend and says that I'm making out like a bandit. Says he has no one but me and Dakota but now he only has Dakota. I told him I tried helping him make friends there's not much I can do. Sucks because we're still in the same house. I'm staying upstairs and he's staying down. Until we can get rid of this place this sucks. Anyone know how to get rid of a house you don't want?

hug.gif I'm sure it wasn't easy to have "the talk".

I think you said you guys own the house together, right? If thats the case, I think you're going to have to reach an agreement on who wants to stay in it or not and come to some terms on buying the other one out, or agree to both stay until it sells and divy up the profits from there. I don't know what is the most fair, have you guys split the payments 50/50, etc or has one of you made the payments themselves, etc..

Bought it together. Neither of us can afford it alone. I don't know if we could sell it. We only have 15k in equity and Michigan's market SUCKS! Plus I don't know how long I can live with him moaping around here. If I had somewhere else to stay I would just give him money to help make my share and go somewhere else. I don't really. Mom's in Alabama, Dads not an option and friends are all.. not options.

lol. negative, itd be like $1100 a month (rent) and no one would pay that much for this dump. He moved out. Thank the lord. Now I don't know I have much of a choice but let the bank take it. I think I'm susposed to be upset but I'm really not. tongue.gif

Where are you going to go if family/friends aren't an option and the bank takes your house? unsure.gif

You should at least put it on the market and try to sell it. Just price it to sell. It will be better than losing everything you have invested and having your credit ruined. I'd call a real estate agent and explain your situation -- I'm sure they deal with this all the time and can come up with a plan for quick sale. What do you have to lose?

Or, do you have a friend that can move in with you and split the costs?

It sounds like splitting up was the best move over all. Good luck.
