Ok first I get sick that I am still feeling the effects off and now my right eye has a swollen eyelid! blink.gif
I think it is due to my allergies with all the spring time pollen. I probaby rubbed it and got it infected. I'm not a happy camper.

Any advice on what do to. I have been putting a warm compresson on it and that seems to help but still kinda hurts and is still noticably swollen ;(

Keep doing warm compresses, tlcdad... That seems to be the most helpful. And don't rub it!

I had an allergy attack last fall so bad that I was holding warm compresses on my eyes and used one of the washclothes to actually rub my eye. My eye (the white part) swelled up and looked like it was going to pop (ewwww gross!). It totally freaked me out. I got a rx from my dr right away!

I sure hope it gets better on its own. I really do not want to have to go to the Doctor again. I already went to urgent care last week for my terrible sore throat. We are self pay so those things add up sad.gif

You don't have to tell me... I soooo know about self-pay. sad.gif I'd take extra special care of it the next few days.... I'd imagine you'll see a difference with a few days time and will know whether you need to do something or not.

Is it pink at all? And I mean BEFORE rubbing it? B/c if it is, it could mean Pink Eye.

I think it was an infection caused by my allergies and rubbing it. It went away finally after about two days. I just kept soaking it with a warm compress (warm washcloth).

Sad thing is, it seems like it is trying to come back... at least the allergy feeling. Springtime always attacks me this way.

Good thing it's not Pink Eye... that's nasty!! Aaron had it bad when he was a babe and that's why his left eye is smaller than his right.

Ugh, I know how that is. I had pink eye I think a couple of times when I was younger... not as a baby though, at least I do not think so.

One time both my eyes got almost swollen completely shut from being babyset from my next door neighbor and they had cats. At the time my parents did not know I was so allergic to them.
