I was wondering if anyone else is having this problem. Arik won't go to sleep util i go to sleep. I was at my sister's house this weekend, and he was up til midnight with us still runnng strong. that's pretty late for him he usually goes to sleep at 9. but he was running around laughing and having a good time. I realize it was a strange place for him and didn't want to miss out on anything. But he did it last night too. Wouldn't even try to go to sleep until I was ready. Had to turn off all the lights and then both of us fell asleep in the chair. snooze.gif This was at home.

Yep and he's still like this even at 3 YO - he will not go to bed until both DH and I do, he's too afraid he'll miss something. Well, sometimes, if it's late enough (1 am or so) he'll go to bed without DH, but I am usually already in bed by then (with this PG, I am TIRED!! - lol).....

One time we let him go just to see how long he'd stay up - at 3 am we gave up and all went to bed, he would have stayed up later.....

But on the other side of the coin, he's usually not up in the morning until 10 or 11 on the weekends.

At least he will go to sleep when you are ready, Ashley won't even do that! She just hates to sleep.... she is like the energizer bunny, she just keeps going and going and going!!!! She fights sleep down to the very last minute. She will blow raspberries with her eyes closed, giggle, anything to keep from sleeping.

Madison usually goes to sleep when she is ready. We try to keep her up as late as possible so she will go to bed when we do and then wake up when we do. But the last couple of weeks she has been awake every night almost with teething. The tooth still hasn't come through though.
Is he waking up early or does he get up with you both?

Arik wakes up on his own ususally. He will wake up around 7:30 and have a bottle and go back to sleep or stay up. All depends on when he went to sleep. He just hd another tooth come in. Didn't give him too much trouble. He now has 4 on top and 3 on bottom. horray.gif And he sure can bite.

Mckaylee won't go to sleep unless you are in the room with her and then she won't stay asleep if you turn off the tv, and you have to leave it on the country music channel...she loves that channel..lol

He isn't to hard to get to sleep when we do go. I just lay him down next to me with a bottle and he crashes. snooze.gif
