We had her 1 year ck up today...

She had 2 shots, MMR & Varicella titer, she was brave with the Dr. until the needles came. She then had to have a lead test, which sent us to another building and the could not get a vein bawling.gif

OH and get this the DR. was asking questions as usual can she pull up (she can walk) can she switch items between hands (all that and a bag of tricks, including beat her sister back for hitting her) but anyway he got to her eating habits and said very suprised, "Your Still BF?" I was like "yes" he then had the nerve to say "Are you trying for the world record?" WTF was up with that?????dunno.gif I considered this Dr. one of the better of the 5 in the group now I have serious doubts... .HMPH smash.gif

Well there it is in a nutshell....

We have to go back for the blood draw to the lab, and back to the peds in 3 months for yup more shots rolleyes.gif

Thanks for reading smile.gif

Way to grow! One year is a world record? huh? We have some Moms on here that are Olympic champions when it comes to BF! Did he misread her chart and think she was 11 and not 1?? smash.gif

Anyways, glad she is doing great!

WTG !!! thumb.gif thumb.gif Poor babe for the shots and having to try to get a vein on her and not being able to....

Yes, you can tell your doctor smash.gif smash.gif smash.gif smash.gif smash.gif smash.gif from me too!! That is totally absurd about his BF comment....... What really gets me (and this is NOT a flame against bottle feeding moms) is that if you WERE bottle feeding, they wouldn't bat an eye about it!!! The last time my Doc said something like that to me, I made sure I mailed a copy of the AAP recommendations to both his office AND his house - he never said another word....but I'm just onery like that!

Three cheers for you for keeping on keeping on with the BF - sorry, now down off my soapbox.gif - giggle
