Waylon hates the car seat

Gold Member Group: Members Posts: 3,197 Member No.: 2,245 Joined: 21-July 05	Waylon absolutely hates his car seat. The only time he may not cry when riding is if I make sure he eats well right before we leave. And that only works about 3/4 of the time. We recently got him a little bar of toys that light up, rattle, sing songs and Will tries to talk/play with him, too. Once he gets crying though it seems nothing stops him until he either exhausts himself or we arrive at where we're going and get him out. Any ideas what may be causing this and how we can help him? I feel bad for him bc he'll scream until he loses his breath and has sweat running down his face. --------------------

My two cuties :) Group: Members Posts: 7,394 Member No.: 788 Joined: 29-September 04	Both of mine went through that when they were little babies too. We tried hanging toys in it, and the hanging mirror that plays music and has flashing lights, and everything. Nuks weren't much help for that either... they just pretty much hated it and nothing helped. The good news is the grew out of it pretty quickly, so there's hope. It was miserable, we went nowhere. I even bought the cushiest looking seat I could find that Consumer Reports rated well and it didn't make a difference.
