We are writing a book on online security for parents and would love to have your input: What concerns you about online safety and your kids using technology to connect with the world (unfortunately including all the predators that are out there to harm)?
Please ask any question that concerns you!!! Also, we would like to have your personal input and ideas on the following: If you had 5 minutes to talk to me (or any parent for that matter) about online security and protecting your kids online, what are the most important topics/ issues you would want to cover? (See specific questions below) • What do you think is the greatest threat in terms of online security? • What do you think is the number one thing parents forget in trying to increase security? • Do you have a really funny or really scary story related to this issue that you would like to share? • Aside from all the technology that you can use to increase online safety, how important do you think it is for parents to have an ongoing and open discussion about the issue with their children? • What do you think is the number 1 mistake parents make when it comes to their children’s (or even family’s) internet security? Thank you for your input! |
