We broke a glass yesterday and I thought I got it all up, but I must have cut my foot on a piece in the process of cleaning it up. I didn't notice at the time, but now it is really super sore on the bottom of my foot (right below my big toe). I am thinking there may still be a piece of glass in there but I don't see one. Anyone know how to get it out if there is still a piece of glass in there. It is a pretty small cut.. but super super sore especially if I put any weight on it.

Sounds very funny but put a piece of duct tape on it - it will draw it out - I had a piece of glass in my finger like that and someone told me to do that and it worked.....

I asked Dh and he said mix egg white and pepper and put it on it with a bandaid. He said it's an old wive's tale but it's worked for him more than once.

I'd say try the tape thing. It adhears to the glass shard. It also works on splinters. I've also heard of using elmers glue. Letting it fully dry on the spot then peeling up the glue, same theory as the tape.
Also, I know for me when I stepped on glass it'll still throb for a day or so. It may have just hit a nerve and you dont' have any more glass in there. I dunno. -------------------- Beth, proud Army wife to Curtis, supermommy to Owen!
