Can anyone give me some information on placenta previa please? I had my 20 wk scan 2 days ago and was told my placenta is low and that I will need another scan later in pregnancy to see if it has lifted. Please help!

I don't have any personal experience with this but I have seen it on the Discovery Health Channel a few times. The worst instance with it I saw was the women needed to have a hysterectomy (sp?) after the C-section, but the best situation I saw was just a routine delivery - there are different levels of severity - I like WebMD so here is a link I found http://www.emedicine.com/emerg/topic427.htm

Not sure--do some Google searching...
Good luck! I'm sure it'll be fine. |
