I should have known after the little guy being on antibiotics for 10 days that we were BOUND to have to deal with Thrush ...
I went and picked up some probiotics today, and will be taking them and putting it on my finger and letting him suck on that ... lol ... any other ideas that won't turn us purple?? I would like that to be my last resort!!! -------------------- Jessica

IMO Nystatin is a total waste of time, and a total PITA. (having tired it several times, ) you have to give it I think 3 times a day, it tasted HORRIBLE and I could never get it to work. Although, I realize that my experience with Thrush was unique. Having lived through it many many many times, I found that just doing the GV and getting it over with is the way to go. Then post Pics. |

Sorry, I have no experience with thrush, but I trust that Tara has, so go with what she says!

yeah, but mine was super evil recurrent thrush, so I don't know if that counts. I don't really know what to do about normal thrush. I still say purple is the way to go. Then post pics. |

GSE works great for laundry to get rid of all the yeaties...but I swear buy gentian violet too. we didn't have super recurrent thrush but the GV was the only thing that got rid of it.
