OBGYN appt tomorrow!, I'm bringin The Boy!

Ruby Member Group: Members Posts: 12,652 Member No.: 2,561 Joined: 24-September 05	I have my 3rd doc appt tomorrow morning. We are plannig on bringing The Boy because there is no preschool tomorrow. I'm kind of excited to see him hear the baby's heart beat for the first time. Any one know of a way that i can prepare him for the appointment or have any experieance with taking their other children to their appts?

Just explain it all to him in a happy/smilie way. make it fun for him, eventhough it might be a little scary. The dr. might be able to help also. Mommy's littlest man Group: Members Posts: 2,494 Member No.: 828 Joined: 15-October 04	Katy came to all my appts with Matt though she was a lot younger none of it freaked her out. SHe thought the heartbeat was the coolest thing and would help the dr. hold the dopler --------------------

I don't think I will bring him back tho, because The Dr. spent WAY more time playing with him then talking to ME! I didn't get my questions answered, and felt like a total afterthought! Oh well. The baby is fine. Heartrate, about 140!

So I eventually wrote it all down, poor doctor, had to listen to all of my crazy questions! Sorry, it brought back memories! 140....wow...maybe it's a girl!
