Thanks everyone. Megan got put on an antibiotic AGAIN this morning so doctor said she'd be "safe" to be around her cousin this weekend if necessary. We will still take caution though.

Aww! Poor Megan! Is it for the poison ivy still? Do they give you antibiotics for poison ivy? I'm so clueless.

No, we didn't even go about that yet For an absess on a tooth her regular dentist didn't even catch 3 days ago. They have to make sure the absess doesn't get worse before they try to deal with it and they can't do that until they get clearance AGAIN from her infectious disease doc. She would have to go on another steroid or steroid shot for the poison ivy, but that will compromise her immune system more and they can't take care of the tooth if she's on the steroid. SO...we are going to go with Jennifer's suggestion on the oil to help that. It never ends. -------------------- ~*Karen*~

Karen I'm with you I wouldn't expose either of the children. Annika was hospitalized in Dec with rotavirus and I refused for anyone who had children at home to visit her. I didn't want to take ANY chance of my child to give it directly or indirectly to anyone!!! I can not believe she would even consider taking your niece camping, period!!!

I would just keep Meghan home and say between her tooth and the poison ivy, she would be more confortable at home and in her own bed.
