I was 11 weeks pregnant and now have to have a D& C. I'm nervous and don't know what to expect.

I am so sorry. It will be fine. They will talk you through it. What kind of sedation are you getting? For one at 15 weeks, I was totally under and the other about 8 or 9 weeks I had twilight sedation, so I was awake enough to know what was going on. I am not very comfortable talking about the mechanics of the procedure, but wanted to send you lots of hugs. And my prayers go to you and your family at this time.
Afterwards you will have period-like bleeding, some cramping and will need lots of rest. Both physical and emotional rest. Take care. -------------------- Anne Marie Mom to Billy & Mary Beth Wife to Lee |

Good luck, I'll be praying for you tomorrow. I'm sure you will be just fine. |

I'm so sorry. I did not have a D&C when I miscarried so I don't have any advice for you. I'm so sorry you're going through this.
