I'd have to say shortly after DW told me. But it was a mixture of emotions with happiness dominating. But it really hit me after we finished the nursery a few months before she was born.
I still have those emotions.... I.E. Am I doing everything right, will she love me as much as I love her, will I be able to provide shelter and everything she needs now and in the future. |

I don't mean to intrude on a private conversation here, but I have to tell you TLCDad that you are doing an awesome job as a Daddy. Ashley absolutely adores you... her face just lights up the minute you walk in the room. The first thing she does (right after she gives me my morning hug) is look for Daddy. She says DADA and then she will look around the corner of the doorway in her room... and we have to go find Daddy. All you have to do is look her way and she smiles ear to ear!
I knew you would be a good Daddy, but I am sooo amazed at how wonderful the two of you are together. I just turn to mush!! Jamie, you are in for the best experience of your life! -------------------- |
