Okay, so I've never been a food journaler before, but if it helps me out, then I'm all for it. So here's what my day looked like.
6am-cup of coffee, plain. Needed a jolt, it's six am for Pete's sake.

8am-morning break. Yogurt, non fat, grape/banana fruit salad (half banana and 10 grapes or so) 1/2 bagel with fat-free cream cheese. 16 ounces water.

10am-sneak back finish water, another 16 ounces. Multi-vitamin.

12noon-4oz chicken, carb lite marinara sauce, ~1/3 cup pasta, 1 hard boiled egg, 1/2 whole wheat tortilla, the other half of my fruit salad. 16-20 ounces water.

3pm-1 snack bar from my programs list, 16 ounces water.

Dinner tonight, well here's where I'm going to be bad. I want a cheeseburger. So, I'm getting one from Wendy's. I'll skip the fries and have a salad, but I want that cheeseburger. I'll also probably drink another 16 ounces of water before bedtime.

So all told, that's about 10-8oz glasses of water. I also worked today, so factor in about 9.5 hours of on my feet working my tail off for activity.

Wow, it seems like a lot of food. But I'm losing, it must be balanced correctly or something. And I'm really cutting back portion-wise. I mean 4oz of chicken is like half a small breast. Anyway, that's day one for my journal, we'll see how I do with it.

Today is a weigh in day at LA. These get me a little nervous. Not like it's a test or anything. I just want to see that scale go down. Not to mention I hate like crazy getting weighed. Maybe after I get below 200 it'll be better. I have about 2.5 pounds to go before I get there.
This morning I have just about lost my voice. I'm still at work, but I can't talk much. Drank 24oz water this morning between 6 and 8 am. Really thirsty. Now I am getting hungry but can't break until am workload is done. I wish I felt better, but right now I'm down in the dumps. I've lose nearly 10 pounds, but I can't SEE any difference. I feel better, just wish I looked better too.

You're doing great Kelly. Don't worry, you'll get there, you're on the right track with your eating.

Good Luck at weight in today. *LOSER LOSER LOSER* partydance.gif partydance.gif partydance.gif

I will tell you a few years ago when I droped 20lbs I really did not notice a different till I hit 10-15lbs gone, it was frustrating but oh so worth it. I am almost 5lbs gone and a few of my pants are fitting so much better, cant get into some (well I can but they are tight) but thats my goal. werign all these pants I have and that means being smaller. Anyway welcome and congrats.

PS good luck with WI

Okay, breakfast, 1 hard boiled egg, yogurt, 1/2 bagel, water.
And I cracked open a diet pepsi, I needed a jolt of caffeine. I only allow myself one a day, so that's it.
Lunch is beef and broccoli, a salad and an apple. I may have a wheat roll, if they look good at the cafeteria. Yesterday, they were burned. Drinking my water, I've had ~40 ounces so far.

Thanks so much for the uplift, guys. This is a great part of the forums, I don't know why I didn't come over sooner.

Weigh-in results. I didn't lose any more weight since last time (Monday) but I didn't gain. So that brings my total loss for the month of January...

8.4lbs

Also, to finish my eating habits for the day, I passed on the roll at the cafeteria, they were burnt again (lucky for me). So, I am going to eat a Healthy Choice frozen dinner. I'm going out of town for a week and I don't want to leave leftovers in the fridge.

ohmy.gif Oh, so not easy to do this away from home. So, I've been really good for two out of three meals a day. Grandma and I used to go out for most meals and we've kept it to only lunch out. Traditions are hard to break. I've kept up with my water intake and done really well for breakfast and okay for dinners. Lunches are another story. I'll have to get back on the wagon big-time when I get home Tuesday. Thanks for the well-wishes guys. I'll post more when I get home. Grammy only has dial-up.

Hi, all. Thanks for asking. I gained a little over 2 pounds. Could have been better, could have been worse. So, I had to start a phase of the program called Take Off. It sucks big time. It's two days of intense cutback on foods allowed and portions. But I'm almost halfway through. Thank God. Anyhow, I'll post on Friday about my weigh-in then. Hopefully I can put off a pound or so.

Wahoo Hey!! I lost my 2.4 pounds and also another .4 pounds. So, down a total of 8.8 pounds. Yippee!!! I'm back on my plan and I have to say, I feel much better. Not as groggy. Soon, I'll be down my first 10. That will be a happy monument. Thanks for encouraging me.
Today's journal...
6:15am, coffee
8am, 1 hard boiled egg, yogurt, 1/2 bagel, 1/2 cup grapes, water.
12pm, diet coke, 4oz chicken, 1cup salad, 1 pear, 1/2 bagel, water.
3pm, water and slim fast bar.
6pm, 2 slices pizza (blotted off grease) water.

Not too bad. We'll see how the weekend goes. I WI again on Monday.

OMG it is so early here. 6:20am! I am so tired.
Coffee, I need Coffee!!!
Breakfast is what I packed, a banana, fat free yogurt and a small bagel, dry.
For lunch, we'll see what food in the cafe beckons. Hopefully it'll look nasty and I'll have a salad, I'll let you all know.

On a side note, this has kept me honest. I passed on a donut yesterday. It probably helps that I have a $50 bet with one of my friends here. First one to lose 50 pounds wins. LOL.
