Its that time again. time to drop weight I gained 3lbs over the hoilday actaully not as bad as I thoguht it would be. I am going to start with small changes, I seem to fail when I do it all at once. I need to find a nice low cal/fat/point hardy breakfast. I am no longer opposed to bring it to work.

over all need to lose 43lbs. going to start with 10 then keep going. I would like to make that 10lb buy Feb 14th. 6 weeks to do that.

So far I am drinking more water, will not eat after 8pm, and working on cutting back on food intake. I will be clenaing out the fridge tongiht so I can go shopping for better things.

I am up for any ideas/suggestions on meals

Nice to see you here. As for breakfast I have started having a 2 egg omlette with hot peppers and salsa or a bowl of porridge with fruit or shredded wheat cereal with fruit. I am following the CORE program (WW) and all these are CORE breakfasts, I know eggs can add up points wise but they are really filling. I also find that when I drink all my milk I am fuller than I was when I wasn't drinking it (I also just found out today that I get an extra milk serving because of what I currently weigh). Welcome back to a great bunch of losers.

Hugs Di, getting sick is definitely not the way to lose it. I lost 8 pounds at the end of November in 1 week and I never really got sick, the boys did but I was too afraid of eating. Needless to say once I starting eating it slowly found me. You will be fine, start slowly and you will be fine. hug.gif may you feel better soon.

You are welcome, as far as the eggs is it just the whole egg or can you use the whites? Not sure what else to suggest, maybe some wraps with different fillings. Hang in there it will get easier. hug.gif

wraps, now there is a good idea thumb.gif on the eggs I am not sure I have never tired to sparate them to find out, I just tend to stay away from them, plus I dont care much for the taste.

Glad I could help, have you tried the pre-separeted ones, I think they are called egg beaters - not sure, you can always mask the taste with salsa and other flavours. They are a great protein source. HTH

well since I have had had stomach bug I have not eaten much. Cousre I have not worked out either. I really do miss working out. I am sure I have droped a few pounds. Once I am better and dont have the stomach issues I will begin to work out, I have a few things I can do plus I just found tons of different workouts on tv on my on demand so I can do then when I want. Hopefully with all the things I have available I wont get board. I weight in tomorrow and will update the ticker I am going to create now. I am going for 43lbs over all. In 10lbs increments.

thanks I really want this, mostly for all the pants that are to snug and have been for a while. wacko.gif I am also hoping that I can learn when I am hungry, when I am thursty and when I am full. I so admire Kaitlin for this and I am really letting her lead the way and have really learned not to push her. I dont want her to struggle they way I am.

Hi Di! Sorry about the stomach flu. I'm glad you are feeling better! hug.gif

Stay positive, eat something healthy every couple of hours (to keep yourself from getting hungry...the more hungry you get the more you crave fatty foods.) Get to moving (if you have 30 mins a day to walk, go for it! thumb.gif )

You have the right attitude and you are doing GREAT!! I'm so proud and encouraged by your momentum. Keep going, girl! Don't give up! cheerleader.gif

hug.gif That stomach virus is so hard to get over, isn't it?

When you get your appetite back and are ready to eat a little more you can follow this plan. Until then just stick with soup, crackers and sprite or something that won't hurt your tummy. hug.gif

cereal for dinner blush.gif and a left over pice of pizza. my stomach is oh sooo much better, the only problem is now I am craving things like crazy. wacko.gif course that could be AF since she showed up this moring. no wonder I felt bloaty yesterday. I am hoping the stuff I packed will keep the cravings at bay. I am really going to try not to give into them. I just found out of an event I want to attend thats in 15 weeks so I need to drop weight by then to feel comfortable. woudl like to have the 1-2lb loss a week from here till then. So I need lots of control and finding other ways to keep busy.

Glad to hear you are feeling better Di, I found that keep up with drinking my water has helped to curb a lot of cravings and if you do indulge try to keep the portions small. Have a great week, you will do it. cheerleader.gif
