I read your post about not using medication in vaporizers for young children. Did your ped say why? I've not heard that before.

Addding medicine to a vaporizer really isn't necessary. The only thing a vaporizer does is help your baby become a little more comfortable. You also have to change the water everyday to prevent mold from growing.
Some medicines (like Vicks) added to a Vaporizer can cause crankiness and it does stimulate an infant. That is probably why her Ped told her not to use it. -------------------- |

I can't remember his exact reasoning, it was over 1.5 years ago but if I remember correctly he said their little lungs really can't handle the "harshness" of the vicks because it does stimulate them. I meant to ask him yesterday (ped) when I saw him to get the accurate reason, but I forgot.
