personally, I think walkers are great as long as you use them right. Andrew had one, and I just always kept it downstairs where there were no stairs he could fall down. Our house is a two story house, with the basement stairs only accessible from the mud room - so there were two closed doors between him and the basement stairs. We had baby gates for the stairs leading to the second floor, but I NEVER brought the walker upstairs.

Me too!

And there are some who think they are not good for the baby's development either as far as the way they bear (or don't) weight. Same idea for the exersaucer - not good to let the kid spend the entire day in one of those.

Can ya' tell I married a physical therapist?? tongue.gif
