Howdy!
Welcome to the board. It's a great one. I WAH part time and I have to say...it's not all it's cracked up to be. I finally had to hire a sitter for 10 hours a week to watch my DD so I could get work done. Some things about it are great; I get to see all of her firsts, I can BF anytime, but some things are kinda rough. For example, I stay home with her all day then when DH gets home I cook dinner and do the "wifely things" like tidying up etc, then he watches her for a couple hours so I can work. I get her back for bathtime & the bedtime routine and once she goes to sleep, it's back to the computer for me to work until 12-1am. It makes for a VERY long day. It's also kinda hard to get DH to understand that I am working all the time! I rarely get to just kick back and watch a movie or even a sit-com. I'm not complaining, just letting you know that there are no "perfect" situations. Enjoy the boards and good luck on finding a SAH job! Cary -------------------- Cary
