I had my tubes tied finally on Friday - I felt kinda sad about it - but not overwhelmingly - if that makes sense - I don't want any more babies but just the fact that I now can't have them is wierd - but anyway...
I also had an ovarian cyst that my OB drained - I just wondered anyone else who had it done - how long did you bleed after? And how long did the pain last - I am not in major pain but pretty uncomfortable..... -------------------- |

I had my tubes tied after I delivered Callum, it seems like I remember the pain lasting about 4-5 days.
Good luck! I hope you heal fast. -------------------- You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say will be misquoted, then used against you.

I had my tubes tied at the same time as my c section so I dont know what the normal amount of pain is....
I know how you feel though, I sometimes still go thru the second guessing and wishing there were more kids in the future but know that we have our limit. -------------------- Stacy, wife to Peter, mom to Caleb, Jakob, and Andrew

Thats how I feel about it I didn't have any bleeding, they did mine laprascopically I think, it was just a teency incision where they cut and cauterized the end of each tube, the next day was fairly painful but after that it was just a day or two of discomfort. I'm sorry you're still having pain |

Thanks all - I called my OB - he said the bleeding is normal - I told DH after two c-sections this is like adding insult to injury
I am so annoyed - But overall the pain is much better today - more just sore than anything..... -------------------- |

Even after 2 vaginal births it would be. I would be super annoyed. That's why I refuse to get it done and HE'S the one that doesn't want anymore kids. I'm glad the pain is easing up some. |
