Diamond Member Group: Members Posts: 27,917 Member No.: 236 Joined: 4-August 03	DH has been asked through his employer to attend a protest at our state capitol this week. I SO SO am SO jealous. Did I tell you how jealous I am? I really really want to be at this protest. My employer is against the issue too, but I'm prohibited from protesting this. BUMMER!!!!!!! I really really want to do this. Did I say how badly I want to protest? I might have to sneak over there with my video cam so I can at least document the excitement of it all. It's pretty much nationwide and I've heard quite a bit about it. It could be any number of things, though. I wish you could go, Karen! It sucks that you aren't able to, but your DH will be there to protest on your behalf.

The only reason I can't protest is it is during work hours AND because I also represent the company in the sense that we don't do protests, not our style and are going about protesting it in other means. Not that. I don't think a company would take a stance on something like that, would they? That would be political suicide IMO, maybe not .
