I hope this is where i post this but I wanted to ask if anyone has this problem. I did when i was pregnant and right after for a couple months but then it stopped but for some reason the past month my hair is falling out more than normal. Does anybody have any ideas what could be causing this.?

I had the same stuff before and after both pregnancies....and I know its from hormones....maybe you have a hormone inbalance. Check with your doctor.

I'd say it's pretty normal after pg. Hormones are still out of whack and it may take a while for things to go back to normal.

Its probably just hormones...that happened to me when I was pregnant. But you should ask your dr about your thyroid. My doc told me that hair loss could be caused by your thyroid being out of whack

Well It did fall out a whole bunch while i was pregnant and right after but it stopped and just recently started again. She is 14 months so i figured i should be back to normal by now... I went to get my hair cut on fri and my hairdresser said it was falling out more than normal and i should go to the doc. so thats next i guess i will find out whats wrong. Hi, I have hypothyroidism and have recently had my hair loss increase. As for other systoms they can be dry skin, lethargy or tiredness, absentmindedness (forgetting to do stuff), cold sensitivity. -------------------- Terri

Lethargic or tiredness is the samething, I would definitely get your doc to check your thyroid levels, I forgot to mention that a slow metabolism or quick weight gain is also a symptom. I would never think you were stupid. -------------------- Terri
