. . . at least that's what the test said. i stopped taking bc with the new year, had one successful af on time, and then . . . nothin. i am yet to call my obgyn, just because i have so much else going on. i took a hpt when i was a week late and it was bfn, so i just chalked it up to stopping my bc. but now that i have been diagnosed with iron deficiency anemia, i wonder if i should be more concerned, or less??? i've been to my family doc once a week for a while, and with the countless blood tests they've done, i'm sure they would have caught if i were pregnant, right??
i'm so confused. it get's worse, though, because my medical insurance has been cut until furthor notice. i've got until april 1 to get seen. yay. -------------------- |

How long were you on BC before you stopped taking it? It took my body about 6 months to get regulated last time after being on BC for a couple of years. I'd retest in a week or so just for your peace of mind.

i was on bc for 8 months. it didn't agree with me. but i guess i should mention that my last period was in the begining of february, so it's been a while since i've seen the hag. i guess i should retest, i just wasn't looking forward to paying for it.

I would re-test, but keep in mind, if you are having anemia problems or any stress related problems...now that your hormones are re-adjusting it is quite normal to have changes in your cycle.
Also, with that being said, it should not be allowed to continually happen without at least a call to your MD. Good luck!! -------------------- |
