Sophia has been complaining about a headache and stomach-ache for two days now. Sometimes it's difficult to tell if she is faking or not rolleyes.gif but then she woke up this morning with a nose-bleed. It was pretty strong... not just dripping. She's had one or two others before, usually in the morning when she wakes up. It's so humid here in the summer that I can't imagine it would be too dry in the house for her sinuses... can anyone else think of what might be going on?

Ashley has nosebleeds as well. She's had about 6-8 this summer, with a couple of them being pretty bad. The ped thinks it is from her allergies but I am not convinced 100%.

Let me know what you find out. hug.gif

Allergies maybe? Her headache could be from her head being stopped up from lying down all night, and the stomachache could be from drainage. The nosebleeds could be connected I am really not sure. Hope she gets to feeling better hug.gif

Oh my! Poor Sophia. Yes, with the humidity in Florida it can't be dryness, seems unlikely. I hope you figure this out soon!

Does she normally have nose bleeds?? I guess if it's normal, maybe call and ask the doctor, but if it's NOT normal. I'd visit them.

Poor girl. I wonder if she has a sinus infection... nose bleeds, headache, and temp would all be symptoms of a sinus infection. I would probably take her to the ped.

I would have nosebleeds as a child that would fill up towels!!!! It was from dry air, do you have any kerosene heaters in your home, any issues with your air conditioner system, have you changed your filter? I mean it could be so many things. Also, their noses can bleed because of allergy issues as well, I've heard of this
