Kade had his first appointment with an actual pediatrician. He had been seeing our family doctor up until now. He had to have 3 vaccinations...he missed his 2 month vaccinations, so he's a little behind. No big deal, since I wanted to do a little bit of a delayed schedule. He had 3 shots bawling.gif I almost bawled, and I would have if he hadn't done so well. He cried when she did them, but he stopped as soon as she was done. He zonked out when I got him and slept for about 30 minutes. When he woke up, I gave him children's tylenol and fed him...he is happy as a lark and seems to be doing great!

Here's his stats...
Birth weight: 6 lbs 10 ozs/Today: 12 lbs 6 ozs (little guy!)
Birth height: 19 1/2 inches/Today: 23 inches (REALLY little guy!)
Head circumference was 16 in. Not sure what it was at birth.

She said he's beautiful and that he looks completely healthy. Richard is 5' 5" and about 125 pounds and his mother is less than 5 feet. I'm 5'6", so Kade probably isn't going to be a giant. But he is absolutely perfect and was all smiles for the doctor! Aaaah, he just amazes me all the time.

It was funny how I was all set to cry (especially since he was looking so sweetly at her befor she stuck him!), but then I didn't get a chance because he calmed down so quickly tongue.gif Man, I hated that!
