Ok. Rae's post got me thinking. When was the last time your husband or SO did something extremely romantic for you? i.e. cooked you dinner, took you out on a special date, bought you flowers for no reason, etc....
The last time I got flowers for no reason was September of 2005, and the last romantic dinner I got was Valentine's day 3 years ago. And he wonders why it's such a big deal.... lol men! -------------------- Erika

Ah well Dh knows I'd kick his tush wasting money on flowers so it has actually been a few years ago for that.
As far as something romantic, that was maybe 2 weeks ago. I came home from work one night and instead of my hubby and girls greeting me at the door w/hugs and kisses they were in the kitchen. I walked into the kitchen and there all three of them were sitting at the table, lighting was dimmed, candles lit on the table and a very yummy dinner was prepared and ready for us all to eat. I don't know why I thought that was so sweet, but it was for me. I mean, DH fixes dinner every night, but it was how the "mood" was. Course Kylie thinks we have to eat by candlight every night now. edited for spelling This post has been edited by boogabearzmom on Jan 24 2006, 01:40 PM -------------------- ~*Karen*~

DH made dinner last night...well I really started it, but he finished!
DH likes to buy me flowers a lot. I think the last time was maybe a couple months ago for no reason. Just came home with them...maybe because he knew I was having a rough week or something. And DH planned the last date night as well as this one! Our babysitter works with him, so it's great that she is so conveniently around when he wants to ask, otherwise I don't think he would actually call her. -------------------- Rae SAHM to Wil (4) and Wesley (2) ~ Wife to Richard 10/20/01

We had a date night a week or two ago. We went to see the movie Hostel (waste of money ) and before that we went to eat at a mexican rest. My mother kept the girls that night, so we slept in the same bed without the kids being in it.

I got a single rose when I was about 6 months pregnant. I had just moved out of my parent's house(Well, kicked out) and was really upset about it and I just sat at home and cried all day. Well, Dh came home from work with a single rose and Burger King(Which was my fave when I was pregnant, now I can't look at unless it is the cinniminni's for breakfast). I thought it was so sweet!
