I am wanting to throw out all the chips, cookies, etc. we have and get the kids to eat a lot healthier. I'm not expecting them to eat carrots and apples all the time, so i would still like to have some other healthy snacks around. they have pretzels and little goldfish crackers and graham crackers. What will your kids eat?

I usually offer fruit first especially in the morning, but they also eat organic yogurt, wheat crackers and sometimes goldfish (those are usually saved for trips)

#1 Choice: Fruit -- lots of fruit, Ashley could live on fruit I think.
Yogurt
Granola bars
Chex Mix
Nuts (she likes to crack the nuts herself)
Cheese & Crackers (but we have to limit cheese)
Veggies & dip

well with raygen having high cholestrol now I have learned what she can and cant have.
Its kinda hard sometimes to find things to go into her lunch box though.

She loves rice cakes so she gets those alot.
She eats alot of fruit, apples, oranges, she will eat all fruits except cantalope. So we eat alot of fruit at my house. I also buy her whole wheat bread, low fat p-nut butter and low fat jelly. I buy only baked potato chips cause she likes them and I buy the baked because they are a lil lower in fat.
I tried doing the veggie's in her lunch but she kept bringing those home, so apparently she didnt like those. She does like yogurt but not in her lunch because she says she dont have time to eat it. but I always have it in the house.
