I have been bf for 9 months now and I still have no af. I know bf keeps af away but he isn't bfing around the clock anymore, he gets other food and only gets bm three times a day. I am kinda missing my peroid. Am I crazy to think that? I don't feel normal without it, I actually feel like something is missing in my life. What's the matter with me? I know somewhere out there is someone who is cramping and bloating right now and hating me. But for whatever reason I want it. I think I need a nap.

Lol yep you're crazy. I was expecting AF to stay away at least that long, and I got it back two months after Andrew was born. ENJOY IT!
Just think of what you're missing... tampons, pads, cramps, cravings and pms. -------------------- |

Mine stayed away well over a year both times. The second time was more like 18 months. I LOVE that perk of BF!

Yup, I agreee.. you're crazy for wanting it back, unless you are wanting to ttc again.
I exclusively BF and mine came back around the 4 month mark. I was looking forward to AF staying away longer. -------------------- |

I've been breastfeeding for 15 months... I just got mine back about 2 months ago. My daughter started eating cereal pretty early... and then jarred foods... she's been nursing only about twice a day for the last 6 months.
I wouldnl't worry too much about it. It's a pain in the butt... be glad it's gone. -------------------- The richest people don't have the best of everything, they make the best of everything.

Well.... with three new babies in my family in the last 6 months and my best friend having one in Dec I am getting mega baby fever but DH is not as eager as I am, he just says "We'll throw caution to the wind and see what happens". -------------------- Beth, proud Army wife to Curtis, supermommy to Owen!
