i was watching the news and a story came on.. a family of 6 where driving in a mini van and the van ran a red light so they collided with another vehicle. 2 out of the 4 kids in teh van was not in car seats...the mom was holding the 3 month hold in her arms and the baby catapulted out of her arms and hit the side window and the leg among other things broke and the 3 yr old girl flew through the front window( i believe) the other 3 kids were in car seats so thier injuries were minor.

C'mon if you have 4 kids get 4 car seats. Things like this tick me off!!!!!

edited to change the @ to a 2.

Hi, it happened here in Toronto, here is a link to the story and follow up:

Crash story - car seats

This is very sad and I see it more and more especially in the area we live in. Some people just don't think.

Terrible....that's why we always need to be very careful, with everything... My God, life is the most precious thing and must be protected in first priority, especially by parents!!!

That is so sad and so unbelivably ridiculous. I do not for the life of me understand why anyone would put the life of a child at rish by not using a car seat to protect them. Not at all. It's one thing to go without a seatbelt yourself and even then I think that's pretty dumb, but every single one of those adults in that car should be arrested and charged with... i dunno... something. Child endangerment if nothing else.
