I have been using Lancome, which I've been happy with, but I'm out and I'm looking for something light(er) and more powder like for the summer. I have really dry and flaky skin in the winter. Summer time it evens out a lot.

I was thinking of trying Bare Escentuals and I know we've had a lot of discussions about it on here, but can someone recommend what they use?

When my skin is looking good I adore the Prescriptives Virtual Skin. My other stand by is the MAC stick, I like to put it on with a damp sponge, it evens me out without being make up-ish. But as far as powders go I have no suggestions, except that I hear the Smashbox Halo powder is supposed to be great.

Go to www.makeupalley.com, you can see reviews on everything under the sun and those women are brutal laugh.gif I don't buy any beauty product without checking the reviews there first thumb.gif

I use Chanel, I really like all of the makeup. I use the liquid foundation when need be but usually I just use the power as cover up and it looks great.

I've used MAC studio fix for years, but it tends to be heavy on me... I just started putting it on with a brush instead of the sponge and it seems to help. Just got some Prescriptives powder this week and it seems ok. I'm still looking for something I love.

I've been using the Bare Esscentuals stuff a lot, too... At first I loved it, then it started looking shiny like someone here mentioned happened to them. That's why I'm trying out new things now.

I use Covergirl, the kind that matches your skin tone perfectly, there are literally like 30 different shades or something and it has perfect coverage, it's not too heavy and it matches my skin perfectly, I love it and it's cheap, like $9

Clinique.

I only use it around my eyes though and eye makeup is the only kind I wear. Sometimes I'll put a bit of lipstick on if I look overly drab but that's it. I'm always scared I'll have a "mask".

I use nothing, mainly b/c I can't find anything that doesn't settle into my enlarged pores and fine lines and looks worse than nothing, imo.

I use the Bare Escentuals and like it okay. Liked it a lot at first, but sometimes it can seem a little too matte for me if I get too much on. Plus, I'm sorta oily, so if I just happen to scratch my face, I see the makeup under my nails right away. Guess that happens with most foundations, but it just bugs me to see it come off so easily.

For years I used just the Neutrogena concealing powder since they have one with spf 15 in it. Just get it at Target or any drugstore. Which btw, I saw that Target is now carrying BE! I have also used Origins. I really like their sheerest foundation, forget the name, but it really is great for summer I think. Gives you that nice glow without being cakey. I like when foundations moisturize, which this one seems to do. It's more expensive, but I still have the tube after a year or so (I don't wear it everyday though). Other than that, I've also tried Prescriptives which was too heavy for me.

Estee Lauder's Double Wear Estee Lauder and Foundaion Corrector Smoothing Cream. I tried everything, including Bobbi Brown and MAC and Shiseido cache, but it works for me the best.

Good question.......

I always use mineral products in foundation. shades each and everything.
Because its depend on you skin type. If your skin is sensitive then you should use just mineral products, because that have no any side effects.... Direct i say its very good for every type of skin.... smile.gif

Now its depends on you what you lie for you skin....
