The bus picks McKaylee up at the end of our driveway and I still sit on the porch or at least watch her from the window. I don't leave her in the car alone (in the back seat in a booster seat), I couldn't imagine her trying to drive a car! I am sure there is more to the story with the Mom since the Dad was under court order not to leave the kids alone with the Mom. My kid wouldn't even get himself out of his jammies alone, let alone get himself anywhere on time. This child obviously has a drive that will get him somewhere in life. ( no pun intended) What a blessing that no one was hurt. Could you imagine driving along the highway and being passed by a 6 year old standing up and driving?

When Emily and Spencer were out of the area for the school bus, I worried about them walking to school and walking home from school. Had it not been for the reassurance of our CAS worker I would have been walking them and picking them up and they were in grades 2 & 4. I always got up, made them breakfast and walked them out to the school bus, even when I was pregnant with Claudia, even after she was born. That is just unbelievable! --------------------
