LeaAnn,if you don't mind me asking..which IUD do you have?? I have the Mirena..

Oh,and to answer the question,I haven't ever used the pill but I have known 2 people who were and got pregnant while taking it..

I think its safe to say bc hates me I had a progesterone problem with my last 2 kids and my OB said the birth control actually probably KEPT me pregnant with our last kiddos bc I had been on the placebo pills for a whole week and was spotting but never got a period...took a test so I could get the meds to start your period if it was negative, and NOPE, big positive. My prog. was VERY LOW when I went in and the OB said if I hadnt been on bc I mightve lost the baby, the prog in the bc kept my levels high and the week with placebo pills led to my levels dropping severely. -------------------- Crystal

I'm back on the pill now... and I want so badly for a 3rd... I keep praying that if it's God's will... I will get pregnant whether I'm on the pill or not... but so far no luck. -------------------- Married to dh since May 25, 2002 Mommy to 2 wonderful boys.

Yeah great question!
I was on the pill for a very long time and never got pg.......now was I all that consistent either
