Well with Wil, we used the charting and BBT method (FAM, which stands for Fertility Awareness Method, google it if you want, good book), until finally I quit and got PG! TTC for about six months. I am sure it works for some people, and believe me, it taught me A LOT about my body and my cycles, but it wasn't until I relaxed and didn't think about it that much that we conceived.
With Wesley, we weren't preventing, but not really trying either, just happened. But thank god it did! -------------------- Rae SAHM to Wil (4) and Wesley (2) ~ Wife to Richard 10/20/01

I charted religiously up until our second loss. We got pregnant the very next cycle, but I just went on when i thought I was ovulating...I didn't actually do any temps that time.

We never tried Well, I guess you could say we tried, but not for the sake of ttc One or both of us is very fertile, b/c when I got pg with the twins I had only been off depo for a month. When we got pg with Macie, I was late filling my prescription for the pill by a week or two.

The first 4mons I tracked my ovulation, used the O predictor kit(its like an hpt) December af showed up, I decided to not keep track of anything and ttc but not really try...and here we are prego in January
A couple friends of mine and my mom told me it happens when you arent really trying, that is how my brother and I were conceived. And it worked for me, so Im a believer of that method. -------------------- |

We actually didn't try for any of them. I ended up getting pregnant really quickly after the two times we decided to more or less not prevent, and then one was a total surprise

Dylan was a surprise.
Peyton we were going to start trying around Feb. but I got preg alot quicker than I thought I would. I got lazy taking my pills knowing we were going to start TTC soon and I got pregnant within a couple weeks (in Nov.). -------------------- |

Dd was a surprise baby in a way. I was on and off birth control the month we conceived her because I ran out before I could get to the doctor to get a script for some more. So basically the first month of not being on complete birth control.

When we got pregnant with Will it was kind of #1 and #2... he was a surprise, but not a huge one since we had DTD a couple of times that month w/o protection.
I'm hoping a next one will happen without having to really try too much other than DTD when I'm O'ing. -------------------- |

Izabella a surprise.
Evan a complete surprise. With this one I went to fertilitygal.com and started a calendar and also got an O kit. Between the O kit and the calendar I pretty much knew when to dtd and the calendar also told me I was more then likely preggo on the 11th of this month. It was right on. -------------------- |
