I am 35 weeks and 6 days and ahve been having contractions since 24 weeks with bedrest the last 4 weeks. I've been to the hossy 6 times already for them and had to have my labor stopped every time. Well I was told after 36 weeks they wont stop my labor anymore and just let me contract till I am dialating and effacing more(by the way I'm a loose 1cm and over 50% with head low enough to touch). I am just one day away from 36 weeks and my df is out of town. I really dont wanna go in but the contractions are like every 4 mins and hurt to a point. My water hasnt broke or anything either. Other times I've gone in the contractions have been 3 mins apart but not this strong. I am supposed to have a c-section the begining of July(not suer of the date till tomorrow) so it's not like if I go in they will do anything at all for the contractions unless my cervix has changed and then it will be a c-section that same day.
So would u go in just to be safe or wait it out and see if htey lighten up |

If they have been going on for a while I would go in.

I would definitely call my doctor and get his/her opinion.

I'd go in. I started contractions with my first at 35 weeks, and didn't think anything of it. I went into the hospital thinking my stomach was just really hurting, I was actually in labor and was already 6cm dialated. Best of luck, and ELV if this is the real thing. KUP.

I have had a headache for 2 days and dizzy so after talking to my doctor I went in to be checked. I was contracting like usual but my blood pressure was way low so they monitored me and sent me home. Just take it easy for now and have my weekly check tomorrow so I'll know more then. My cervix is still the same though so it's just a waiting game till I reach my c-section date.
