I know I have a bit of Spring fever, so I can sort of understand.
My 10 yo DD hasn't been turning in all of her homework this last week. I have a set time that they must do homework, (right after dinner). But apparently she isnt doing all of it. Any suggestions to keep her motivated. She is in the fouth grade and I really dont want her grades to slip, she will be going to middle school next year. -------------------- |

Some schools now have a list of homework due on their web site that parents can check. Does your school do this?

What I did was get the teacher's e-mail address, write her and ask her to e-mail me (daily) with the assignments just so I could double check. I let my 13 YO know I was doing this, and it worked like a charm......because she didn't want to listen to me "getting on her case" as she put it!!

It might just take her knowing that you are going to do this! That might be the extra push that she needs. Oh gooshhh.... do you remember how we were at 10 -- scarey thought!

Krystal just called, I told her I was getting ready to email her teacher to see what assignments she had for tonight. She hung up quickly said she had to go, said she was just checking in before doing her homework!! hehe
Lets hope that worked!! -------------------- |
