Good news and some not so good news| Boys r us |

Well, I didn't say I had BAD news..b/c there isn't anything WRONG per say, but it's not GOOD NEWS THAT I HAVEN'T STARTED TO DIALATE YET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! UGHHHHHHHHH I asked him,"Are you sure??? do you have big fingers and just can't tell that I'm already 2cm dialated?" He of course thought that was funny but I was really being quite serious! I was so sure I would have been at least a finger tip or something with all of the pain I've got going on down there!
Good news is that the doctor says my abdomen is short and I'm running out of room and given my history of 37 week deliveries, he doubts that in a week or two if she'll have any room left to stay put...huh..one perk to being "vertically challenged" anyhow! Soo...on that note, he encouraged me to schedule a date for AN INDUCTION  ahh I'm so in love with this man I call my doctor!! LOL I know I know...lots of people get freaked out at the thought of being induced but I went natural with baby #1 and had a MISERABLE 36 hour labor and I was induced with baby#2 and had a picture perfect 8 hr labor that was a breeze compared to #1!So induction doesn't scare me at all. Anyhow..point being is that my doc doesn't want me to go past 38 weeks b/c I'm just not built for it and he feels like it would REALLY begin to take a toll on my body and possibly even baby. So Alexandra will be here ON or BEFORE November 2nd..but November 2nd is my induction date! It's nice to finally have an end in sight! I really am actually hoping that I make some progress on my own before hand but hold out for induction b/c I REALLY want her birthday to be in November...I don't know why except that it just sounds like a nicer month..lol! More good news is that while doing my pelvic exam he was able to determine that she IS in fact head first now and he highly doubts there is any chance of her flip flopping around at this point. So that is fabulous news b/c I've been so worried that she wasn't going to get out of her breech position and I was going to have to have a c-section. Anyhooo...that's it..I'm all updated out! -------------------- NICHOLE

Wow, I can't believe she is almost here! Time flies! Probably not for you, but man, it sure has flown for me! That's great news Nichole...I'm all for inductions too, as long as it's past 38 weeks and mommy and baby are safe. You know what's best for you! I'll pray you don't have to have a C. I had a birthday this month, so I would have to say "October isn't so bad", but November 2nd sounds good too!
