But i cant let myself bond with this baby inside me. I love the fact im pregnant and that im going to be a mommy again and have this precious baby in my arms soon.... but because of my past experiences I just cant let myself bond.. Does this sound horrible? Im glad we are not finding out what we are having because if i found out it was a boy i may be more withdrawn:( and worried...

hug.gif hug.gif I think in your situation its actually pretty normal. I can understand why you feel that way. If you cant bond with the baby now, you will as soon as you give birth. hug.gif hug.gif hug.gif

I too had a couple of losses - not as difficult as yours though - and I felt the same way for a long time. There's nothing horrible about it hug.gif. It is you trying to protect yourself. Just keep doing the right things for the baby and feel good knowing that. hug.gif

I can't say I know what you're going through and feeling but I just wanted to give hug.gif and let you know that I'm sure when the time nears you will bond. Some women don't/can't bond until after their baby is here.

hug.gif It doesn't sound horrible, especially after what you went through! hug.gif

I can't even pretend to know what you're going through...did you feel this way with Jenna? Honestly this could be a early PPD (which can accur in pregnancy as well), I'd talk to your doctor about it.

no its not PPD I did feel it with jenna. I didnt even hold jenna after she was born because i was worried. When you lose 2 sons its hard to bond with a baby when your preggo. so i know its not PPD. this is somethign completely different

I hope you don't think I was trying to pounce on you. I was only curious as to whether you felt like this with Jenna, I can see how you would feel that way. hug.gif
