What do you all have for the preschool/toddler crowd to cover the public toilets? We are finally making some progress in the potty training but I still put the diapers on her when we go out, which I know is not the way I should do it.

I have seen some of those portable cover things but the don't seem to get good reviews, too flimsy usually, so any help is most appreciated! smile.gif

ETA - The table toppers rock. We use them any time we go out to eat.

Thankfully I have a boy and don't have to worry about this as much, only once in a REALLY clean restroom. But my friends with girls have bought a plastic reusable, foldable potty seat cover from Babies R Us that they use, then rinse and fold up in the diaper bag for next time. Let me try to find a link.

ETA: Here ya go

Thank you wub.gif - we use the table toppers too. Do you know, does it make the seat smaller so she doesn't feel like she'll fall in? It doesn't look like it but then maybe it does!

Thank you - as the first was a very well scheduled boy we didn't have to worry about it either!!

This is the one that I have seen poor reviews on, that it is too flimsy and may even pinch the child's bottom. But your friends have had good luck with it? This is good to know, I may go to Babies R Us and pick one up.

I have also seen things called portable potties, but I could just put her potty chair in the car for that and maybe take some big plastic bags for cleanup. Haven't quite worked through the logistics quite yet . . . rolleyes.gif

I just hold her above the toilet, it works for her and me.
