Ashley needs to bring a traditional Greek snack for a Girl Scout overnighter. The first thing I thought of when I thought of Greek food was Pitas and greek salad with feta cheese, but this is just to be a snack (they will have already had dinner). Any thoughts? Something light, easy, and kid friendly would be great!

spanakopita--spinach and feta pies in phyllo, easy to make but can easily be bought frozen and you just bake them, they're delicious and healthy

Ita with Jen. And they come already made frozen. If u wanna cheat on the tedious phyllo part.

OH, I like the idea of buying the frozen and baking them... especially since we have a busy day that day already. Is there a particular brand that is good? Can find them in the regular grocery frozen section?

I believe you can get them at any grocery store in the frozen section. They come in a flat container as they're all laid out side by side in triangles and you just take them out, put them on a baking sheet and bake them.
Idk if there is any one brand that is better than the others but I imagine the ones you'd get at Whole Foods would be tastiest and most authentic. They are not expensive.
