Hi! I am new here:) My name is Stevie and we are expecting our first baby on 4-27! I'm starting to get kinda nervous about going into labor. The reason for my post is to get advice from any "veteran" moms as to what to expect during labor???

Welcome!! Everyone gets anxious but every labor and delievery is different. Mine were both different. Just try and relax and enjoy the time you have now, pamper yourself a little. Hope all goes well and look forward to hearing more from you !!

Just relax is the best advice I can give. And don't let anyone talk you into anything you don't want OR out of anything that you do - whether it's pain meds, people in the delivery room, etc. You are the one giving birth and only you know what is best!

Welcome again! I said hi in the intro forum, but welcome!

I would say what helped me the most was knowing my DH was there...and also just having some sort of plan of what I wanted, but also knowing I could change that plan if I needed to...that really helped me! I'm hoping you have some sort of birth plan by now since you're due so soon?
Good luck!
