For the past week or so, I have had this clicking/popping at the top of my neck or bottom of my skull. You can't really hear it (I don't think) but I can feel it. I don't get headaches from it, but does hurt a bit when it happens and it is bothersome. Any ideas what it could be? Is this something that will eventually go away on it's own? Should I see a regular doc or a chiropractor?

I would go to your regular MD first and ask them to refer you to a chiro - unless you already have a chiro you are comfortable with - your MD might want to send you for an xray first - which I would suggest - don't just let a chiro start adjusting your back/neck without know what is going on first - I made that mistake and had back surgery on two herniated discs when I was 21 ohmy.gif

I get this from time to time. I think I get it if I move or sleep in some odd way. I just ignore it and it goes away eventually (within a week).

I get it when I have a lot of tension...that's where I hold all my stress. I also get migraines as a result. As a matter of fact, my neck is doing it now and I've had a migraine for 2 days. ugh.

I hope it goes away, hun. You might make a call in to your dr just to see. hug.gif
