Here In edmonton a 18 month old boy was run over by his mom. She was backing up and she hit and ran over him. NOW why the heck was he outside the house or yard unsupervised... Thats why the door to my place is locked because of the dayhome kids....

How terribly tragic bawling.gif sad.gif I can see it happening with an older child, perhaps, but not an almost 2 year old. That is sad sad.gif

I know this past weekend Megan was standing right behind the truck unaware that Ryan was going to back-up. He couldn't see her at all in the rearview mirrors and he thought she was with me. I ran quickly grabbing Megan and screaming for Ryan to stop. It was scary for sure.

But an almost 2 year old........sad.gif

P&Pt's for the family.

That is terrible. sad.gif I know when I said earlier about you'd think it wouldn't happen to a younger baby, but I spoke before I knew the rest of the story, shame on me. blush.gif

Don't forget that some kids can get through a lock. There is no child safety lock that Mckaylee and Russell couldn't get through. I finally put chains up at the top of the door and it took them a month to figure out how to get around that...with a broom and a swipe and they figured it out. It took me tons of locks before I found one they couldn't Huidini their way out of.

Tons of prayers to this family...so sad.

Well it is important for every parents to keep an eye on their kids, so that they shouldn't get into any kind of accident. That is why leaving them alone can be a bad idea, either it is better to keep them nearby or hire someone to keep a good look on them.

Seriously painful stuff, as parents needs to be extra careful when they have a growing up baby at home. Since any kind of negligence can be troubling for both the parents as well as for the kid. Just like narrated incident many such incident took place where no is one to be blamed for, except luck.
