I am making broccoli, rice, cheese casserole with dinner tonight. The recipe calls for frozen chopped broccoli. I am using fresh broccoli. Should I add any additional water or liquids since I am using fresh instead of frozen?

I would steam or boil it first then drain, you can do that in the microwave in about 5 min or so.

I would not, but maybe reduce cooking time a little bit. I would guess you can tell by testing the broccoli.
