that they've done this week or real recent. I feel like I'm always negative about DH so I thought this would be a nice post wink.gif.

Besides my other post I just posted about DH blush.gif ........

He's being way too sweet about preparing for this Christmas Eve dinner we are putting together. It's 40+ days away and he's like wanting to put the menu together. This morning he emailed me the grocery list for the dinner. He's just being so weird but so cute at the same time about it. tongue.gif wub.gif

So what is something sweet your spouse has done?

When we first got together, I'd say 4 months into dating or more it was my birthday (so it was 6 months... rolleyes.gif ) I came home and he had taken hershey kisses and made a trail from the livingroom to the bedroom and beside the trail he had made hearts out of hersheys kisses, they were red then silver red then silver like that all the way to the bedroom, the trail lead up to the middle of the bed, he had one kiss on the footrest and others leading up to the middle of the bed where there was this huge heart with all these presents in the middle of it. He had gotten me the most beautiful card that I can't remember what it says now but I saved it, then he got me a really nice pair of black suede boots, a couple of lovey dovey stuffed animals, and one of the teddy bears was holding a ring box...it had the most beautiful rind inside (not my engagement ring)!!! He was nowhere to be found so I had to happen up on all this stuff myself!

Another time, the first time he told me he loved me, he had went to a car race with his work, they take them once a year to a race, and the whole time he was gone he called me and called me and told me he missed me and all this stuff. When he came back he walked into the door and handed me this glass figuring of a bird putting a letter into a mailbox that said I love You!!!

Last one I promise...when he proposed to me! We went over to this casino boat to celebrate my birthday. Well when we got there I noticed he went into the hotel parking lot instead of the casino lot and he pulls out a key...he had gotten us a room! When we walked in the room there were roses (this was my b'day also) everywhere and balloons and a card on the middle of the bed. WEe had joked about how I didn't want him to give me a card with money in it because I though it was impersonal...well the card had money in it, so I was like um..ok let's not ruin the moment and I said Thank you...well I went to the bathroom and I could tell he was sort of nervous acting at this point and when I came out, he was down on one knee and he said since we're on a casino boat and going to be gambling tonight I figured you'd wanna take a gamble with me and be my wife wub.gif wub.gif wub.gif He showed me the most beautiful ring I'v ever seen and I started crying...of course I cam eback with a loud YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh you said from this week...LOL sorry to ramble!!!!!! Um, let's see last night he made a special trip just to get me some Taco Bell.... rolleyes.gif boy do I miss those olden days when we first got together emlaugh.gif emlaugh.gif

I've been travelling back and forth to my mom's quite a bit lately since my dad passed away last month. While I was gone last w/e, Steve removed old wallpaper and repainted my entrance hall. When I got back, it was all cleaned up- a very nice homecoming.

Well, this is hard for me today. I had discussed with DH last night how he never does anything ROMANTIC anymore...

SO I will say something nice about him.....

The nicest thing he ever did for me and the thing I treasure more than my engagment ring is my saddle..

I know for alot of people this is silly, but for us it meant so much. We were poor at the time, not so much different now..lol

But had been riding in a used barrel saddle..it was ok..nothing fancy. And I had it for years. Saddles are expensive and I never would ever ask for a new one.

It was my first birthday has a married woman. I think I turned 24 that year. I never mentioned my B-day and was kinda depressed b/c he hadn't either. Not a date night, a dinner or anything, No flowers at work nothing.

I got home and was doing the chores etc..He came in and was acting so normal. He said we have some cows out, lets go saddle up and bring them in. I thought great.. I have to work on my B-day. I never said a word..sour puss face and all and we headed to the barn...There was a brand new hand crafted saddle on my saddle rack. New everything, blanket , bridal, breast collar all to match.. I was amazed and I said how did you afford this. He said Honey, I had it made for you, it even has my name on it, he said I started this 6 months ago, and have been working cattle and training horses for the extra money the whole time to pay for it...

It was $2500.00 total. We never had that kind of money...I keep that saddle in the house in my bedroom now, and it is insured! It means more to me then anything I own. I still can't believe he did that for me.

This week....

I told DW that I'd be able to attend a parent meeting yesterday. I totally forgot when I told her that that I was scheduled to work. I think she was looking forward to a night off. When I told her, she was a bit irritated, but only a bit and she took it all in stride. I felt a little guilty about the whole thing, but she never mentioned it again. Sounds like a little thing, but that's why I love her. wub.gif

Alyssa was sick yesterday and we didn't have a very reliable thermometer so I called him and asked him if he could go get one on his lunch break when he came back he had brought home the 8th season of friends, I LOVE friends. And come to find out he had to ask them to get a copy from receiving. He may not be very romantic but he does do things for me, I have to remember that a lot of time because that is actually his way of being romantic... *sigh*

Jason is so sweet to me and cassie every day! He decided to take us both away this weekend so that we could all spend time together, I thought that that was really sweet! And he took cassie out to play yesterday when I was trying to get tea ready and she was pestering me. And he walked me to school the other day when he was on the way to his car, held my hand and kissed me and told me he loved me when I got there wub.gif xx

My sweety does some thing sweet every day, he calls me aleast 5 times to see how i`m doing and tell me and the kids he loves us wub.gif
He takes me to dinner every Thusrday (it`s only a hour or so but it`s still real nice) so we can just sit and talk and tell each other how our week has been going (the kids go to my sisters they love her and she loves them so much so we do feel bad about going) wub.gif
