Parenting Club Forums > Parenting Children 8-12 Years of Age > 10 year old sleeping issues

I am new to this site. I am a homeschooling mom of teenagers and I am also a web-content writer.

I am looking for information from a parents point of view on 10 year olds and sleep issues.

If anyone would like to respond, please answer one or more of the following questions:

# How do I get my 10-year-old to go to sleep?
# How many hours of sleep does a 10-year-old need?
# What are the possible causes of my 10-year-old not sleeping?
# When should a 10-year-old sleep through the night?
# Is it appropriate for my 10-year-old to sleep in my bed with me?
# Should I give anything to my 10-year-old to help him or her sleep?

In full disclosure, I am writing an article on the subject. (My own child has NEVER had an easy time falling asleep and staying asleep. She is now 14 going on 15.) So I will take personal advice on teens with sleep issue too.

Thank You
